Welcome to the Southern Nevada Chapter of Directors of Volunteers in Agencies.

DOVIA is a professional, non-profit organization promoting excellence in Volunteer Management through education, training, mentoring and advocacy.

The Purpose of DOVIA:
     ♦ To promote professionalism among Volunteer Managers.
     ♦ To create an awareness of the importance of quality volunteer programs/services community-wide.
     ♦ To provide quality Volunteer Management training to ensure professionalism in the field.
     ♦ To promote sharing of resources to encourage uniformity in Volunteer Management.
     ♦ To create and promote a Standard of Excellence for Volunteer Management.
     ♦ To promote recognition of Volunteer Managers throughout the community.

Membership is open to anyone, salaried or non-salaried, who has administrative responsibilities for the coordination and development of volunteer services.

DOVIA Meetings are held the third Tuesday of every month, 12:00 to 1:30 PM.  Lunch is available for a small charge.
